Gregg Kofi Brown joined Amala Seven's Motherland Project, at Goldsmiths Music Studios on 19th March 2023, for the first in a series of planned recording sessions for live versions of tracks from the Motherland album. We recorded takes for three tracks: 'Motherland', 'Walkin' On Fire' and 'Forged'. 
Gregg was mentored by my father Conrad Isidore as a young man, and has gone on to play with an array of outstanding musicians and artists, including Amadou and Miriam, Damon Albarn's African Express, Billy Cobham, Lauren Hill, Youssou N'Dor, Bombino & Osibisa.
